I’m a Biologist, and a Mother. That officially makes me a Bother, because I filter everything I read and hear about parenting through what I know about biology. Occasionally this makes raising my kids easier; it always makes it more interesting. I can explain why human babies don’t walk, talk or feed themselves at birth, and why your kids don’t sleep in the manner you’d like them to, but I have no answer as to what you should do about it.
